It's true. I'm a movie junkie. If there were a 12-step group, I'd probably have to join. ;) But here's the goofy thing: I don't really know many of the movie stars names. If you asked me what movies Jake Gyllenhaal has been in, I would struggle to list just ONE. But if you said "that guy from Zodiac" I would know exactly who you were talking about. Strange, huh?
Erik and I were talking, and we think it'd be super-fun to get a group together sometime this spring/summer to go to the Drive In in Wichita. Anyone game???? It's $10/car! Anyone want to play sardines????
For more information, check out the Starlite Drive In's site HERE. And feel free to e-mail me or leave a comment below if you're interested in our group drive-in night. :)
Also, for anyone who is willing to drive to Salina .... they show classic movies at the Stiefel Theatre here in town. :) It's most Thursday nights at 7 p.m. .... $5 admission. For more info and a show listing, please CLICK HERE

Just in case you're in the Idaho region. ;)
coolness!!!
They need a sardine option, though. ;)
I might be up for the drive-in sometime. And I still want to make it up for classic movie night too. Wish I could make it on the 23rd ... Bogie on the big screen would be great. But I'm working that night. =(
And if you want another movie road trip idea, maybe you ought to go to Russell sometime and check out the Dream Theater's new 3D projector!
3D projector? Sounds like a blast!!!!!!
Angie and I like the drive-in. We try to go once a year. We'd probably be game although I'm not sure how that would work now with Maddie, especially on carload night.
We saw a movie at the Route 66 Drive In near Carthage, Mo., last year. Very cool experience even if I thought the movie was lame.

You need this before you go, if you're planning to go a number of times....

I was seriously thinking about getting one... and we'd love to go! But we'd probably have to take our own car since ours is 2/3 full anyway. :)
OH - the last time we were going to get one (for a corn maze - the day before) we found out it would take a few weeks (maybe 10 days?) for delivery, so get one now! :)
