Last year, there was an impromptu field trip with newsroom employees to go to IHOP and eat short stacks. It was fantastic! That's one of the things I certainly miss about working with multiple co-workers — the spontaneous things we come up with during the course of the day. Or just creative ways to get away from the office for an hour. :-)

Hey chica - thanks for this idea!!! Made for a great Mardi Gras celebration... and the pancakes were excellent! I was expecting the half dollar size, but they were huge and scrumptious! :)
